Farmer Street Pottery Studio is run by Boorloo based artist Lauren Jane Salt and operates within the shared artist space at Farmer Street, North Perth. Alongside open pottery sessions for studio members, Lauren offers intensive short courses that introduce and develop the fundamentals of handbuilding.
The studio’s focus is on handbuilding, an approach to ceramics that celebrates form, texture, and individuality. Through techniques such as coiling, slab-building, and sculptural construction, students are guided to create works that embody both technical skill and personal expression.
