Lauren Jane Salt is a multidisciplinary artist based in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. Working primarily with clay and organic matter, her practice approaches material as a site of inquiry, shaped by inherited narratives, tactile processes, and mythic resonance. In 2025, she presented her debut solo exhibition Crossing Portals at Lightworks Gallery, following participation in the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial (IOTA24) with VOLIM. Lauren currently teaches ceramic sculpture and hand-building at Farmer Street Studio in North Perth, where she fosters inclusive, collaborative spaces for students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
