Lo, Light, long crown’d with divinity and transcendence.

Here, Light reveals, surveys, sanctifies and measures. 

To stand within the light is to be witnessed and weigh’d.

Borrowing from that first utterance in Genesis 1:3, “Let There Be Light”, here lies a reconsideration of  illumination, not only as divine gift, but as the birth of the theatre wherein reverence, ignominy and authority begin to assume their masks and take mortal form.

Whosoever bestows the light likewise governs the shadow…
