An intimate, community studio for ceramic makers of all levels, with a focus on hand-building and sculpture.
These individual sessions offer access to Lauren’s ceramic studio, in North Perth. Sessions include tools, glazes, firing facilities, and guidance as needed. Work at your own pace while developing your skills within a supportive space.
Sessions are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 8 to 10 participants, allowing for a relaxed and conscious environment where Lauren can work with you individually to achieve your goals.
Available session times:
⚚ Saturdays: 12:00pm-2:30pm
⚚ Sundays: 12:00pm-2:30pm
⚚ Friday Senior Sessions: 10:00am-12.30pm (available by inquiry)
Attend weekly, monthly, or whenever it feels right. Your first session includes a bag of clay to get you started. Once you’ve purchased your sessions, you’ll receive an email with booking details to confirm your start date.
Sessions can be scheduled and rescheduled anytime through the online calendar.

You'll find our shared artists studio through the carpark at 10 Farmer Street, behind the tennis courts and opposite the community garden.
There’s plenty of free parking available beside the tennis courts on Farmer Street, directly in front of the studio, or along Namur Street (just across from the venue).

This beginner to intermediate friendly course is designed to help you explore the fundamentals of hand building ceramics while encouraging your personal expression. Each week, Lauren introduces new techniques and perspectives on working with clay. Whether you are new to the medium or seeking to refine your skills, the course is structured to support both those who value guided instruction and those who prefer a more independent, exploratory approach.
