Whether you're curious about ceramics, looking to try something new, or simply seeking a creative weekend activity with a friend, this introductory two-session package is a lovely way to experience the studio.
Designed for complete beginners, this discounted package includes two guided sessions, taking you through the process of creating and finishing your own ceramic work.
Your two sessions include:
⚚ Session One — Making: An introduction to ceramic hand-building, where you'll learn foundational techniques and create your own piece with individual guidance from Lauren.
⚚ Session Two — Glazing: Return to glaze and finish your creation, ready for firing.
All clay, materials, tools, glazes and firings are included.
About the Studio
LS. Ceramic Studio is an intimate, community-focused ceramic studio in North Perth, welcoming makers of all experience levels, with a particular focus on hand-building and sculpture.
Classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 8–10 participants, allowing for a relaxed, supportive environment and plenty of individual guidance.
Whether you're exploring clay for the first time or hoping to develop a new creative practice, you're warmly welcomed to work at your own pace.
Available Session Times
⚚ Saturdays: 12:00pm - 2:30pm
⚚ Sundays: 12:00pm - 2:30pm
Your two sessions will be booked on separate weekends, allowing time for your work to be dried before glazing. Bookings and rescheduling can be managed through our online calendar.

You'll find our shared artists' studio through the car park at 10 Farmer Street, behind the tennis courts and opposite the community garden.
Free parking is available beside the tennis courts on Farmer Street, directly in front of the studio, or along Namur Street.
